Has WHO turned into an anti West Ham site?
All I've read lately is moaning. Moaning about the the OS, moaning about the players, moaning about Bilic, moaning about Noble, moaning about the football.

Moan, moan, fucking moan.

For over forty years I have followed this club, seen it yo-yo between the top two divisions, having relegation scraps, and the odd cup win. It's been the norm since the clubs inception.

Yet now there seems to be a mentality that we deserve to be a top six side, and anything else is below par.

We have never been a top six side for two seasons on the trot - ever. So where is this ridiculous mentality coming from?

People screaming for Bilic's head? Oh, do fuck off!

We have never had a manager so passionate about the club for decades. We should be proud of that, not stabbing the man in the back.

The OS, okay, it isn't the Boleyn, but it's our home for beyond any of our life times. Accept that, move on, and if you really don't like it, then do one. You won't be missed.

Good rant, Alfs, but I think WHO is the same as it's always been: anti dry knickers.

You have just about summed up my feelings on this site Alf. I first joined the site in around 2001 I believe it was and for years it was a funny and vibrant place to view but certain individuals have sucked the life out of.

I know a few people who cannot be arsed with it now as it has become a chore having to wade through the same boring nonsense spouted by the same tossers every time you log on.

And before you ask Northern sold out I am not going to name names as you always request.

Modern football.
The 'sky' generation.

Football has changed and so have the people who watch it. Like Alf says, what we are seeing now is nothing new and is pretty much the norm for us,the odd decent season and a lit of very dull or ordinary ones. I,along with many others have been moaning since the 60's but the reactions these days border hysteria at times.

One of the many reasons it means less and less to me as i get older.

This site has been taken over by Millwall fans pretending to support West Ham.

We need to start a war on this cyber terrorism.

Or maybe it's a Russian plot?

I don't think fans at games have changed much.

It's just that the Internet attracts a large number of miserable cunts. Fair few on here that probably don't get out much, don't have any mates and when they do start moaning down the pub either get ignored or told to fuck off.

Re: Has WHO turned into an anti West Ham site?
so you don't like people moaning so you start a thread to moan about moaners?

I agree the Bilic out stuff is poor but why can't people have an opinion about him, especially how bad we've been this season
I don't give a shit about the top six but I do give a shit about Brady's treatment of her own fans. a woman who'll never be west ham but who seems determined to ban/piss off as many fans as possible. the day she fucks off will be a day to celebrate

Re: Has WHO turned into an anti West Ham site?
The problem with West Ham is that it used to be a lot of people's second favourite team, because the type of football it played was attractive and attacking, even if erratic. For its supporters the excitement of watching that football was enough to compensate for the lack of consistent league places, and for the occasional awful defeat. Now we can't afford to buy or to keep the most watchable players, and although the players' incomes have soared they are definitely also-rans compared with the real stars of the PL. We have also lost our local pride - the team more likely to be from Burundi than from Barking. So when results go against us there is nothing to cheer.

Agreed far too many miserable moaners just get behind the team and SUPPORT WHU.FC (preferably at the ground where it's desperately needed) or Do one.

Re: Has WHO turned into an anti West Ham site?
Sounds like a great idea. Only post nice things about WH and no moaning allowed. That'll make a brilliant forum and the moaners about the moaners won't have moaners to moan about....

The irony is that he's moaning about moaners and I've not seen one post about being consistently top 6.

It's a feature of the inequality between the modern day fan and the vast sums of money that footballers earn nowadays.
When you see them not being able to trap a ball, pass it 10 yards or be bothered to put a scrap of effort in then there is a sense of injustice and negativity.
It's not just our club but happening at all clubs.

I've also watched West Ham for years and it's not about the winning or losing but more about knowing the players are all doing their best.

Maybe with the heavy influx of foreign players you lose that connection and intensity. I find myself more frustrated watching this bunch of players ,who I think have a lot of talent, not turning up or not playing to their strengths than many previous seasons.

Ultimately I will always be a WHU fan even if we are relegated several divisions with CFC up front again.

Alfs

As you say if you don't like it do one, there's plenty of other sites you can support or just read Golds tweets on how great the cuntbowl is and how everyone loves it

COOL HAND LUKE 11:54 Sun Dec 18
Re: Has WHO turned into an anti West Ham site?
So your view, Alfs, is we should accept it or do one?

'Accepting' a lot of what has gone on lately is akin to just 'rolling over' in MY view, and a long association with WHU, especially in the 70s / 80s, tells me our true fans have never been in the habit of doing THAT...

So perhaps what you are seeing the first stirrings of on here, actually, is a lot of long time fans, true fans, genuinely contemplating for the first time ever, that maybe the guts have been ripped out of the club they support, and that the prospect of 'doing one' is slowly but surely becoming a real option?

Won't be missed? Only true if you are of the same mind as fucking Brady ie. as long as there are bums on seats it doesn't matter if they give a shit about WHU or not. After all, she sees us as a London Attraction, rather like the London Dungeons, maybe? A "match day experience" - completely fucking soulless and eat your popcorn, then off to the theatre afterwards okay yah...

People are angry. They have been stitched up - they at least have the right to bitch up about it.

We're having an awful season, and the new stadium has been a disaster - of course anything honestly written about the club is going to be grim reading right now.

Re: Has WHO turned into an anti West Ham site?
the Cardiff City and Arsenal supporters are the ones who need to "do one".

the "History starts now" statement says it all.

Re: Has WHO turned into an anti West Ham site?
Firstly ...fuck right off you cunt.

Secondly the fans were led down the garden path that the stadium move would establish us as a top side and we will have a team worthy of 60000 fans.

It was bullshit. The chairmen continue to do business as cheap as they can as if we are a yo yo club still, despite generating considerably more in revenue. it is this that supporters are fed up with. Watch January and you will see more of the same

Also I don't care how passionate bilic is about west ham. If he can't get the best out of his players for 6 months + or signs ones who are shit or show no passion. He shouldn't be in the job because he is demonstrating he is not capable or doing it.
